Hi, I'm Savanna!

I'm a Michigan photographer helping families and couples have affordable opportunities to capture the moments that fly by way too fast. Photography is the only superpower that can freeze time and hold it forever: why not take advantage of it?

I've been fascinated by photography since I was a kid, but it wasn't until after college when I found a passion for creating art and capturing life's precious moments. My mother surprised me with my first DSLR in 2018, before I ever knew how much I loved photography. Next thing I knew, I was running a business! I guess she knew something I didn't.

My mother unexpectedly passed away just days after she gave me this gift. I then realized how important taking photos really is, and it became my passion to help people capture every moment because every minute with your loved ones is precious.

Fast forward to 2021 and I decided to offer photos professionally. I registered my business as an LLC in 2022. I was scared to take the leap and label myself as a photographer, but it's been the most surprising and rewarding experience. My clients give me purpose and always bring so much joy to my life!

I currently teach photography and business for a local high school and am always learning new things and working with amazing people along the way! I am a photographer based in Waterford, Michigan, but travel all over Metro Detroit. Shooting in downtown Detroit is one of my favorite places to take photographs and make memories!
